Savaşlar kan, gözyaşı, acı ve ekolojik yıkımdan başka bir şey değildir
İklim krizinin baş sorumlusu olan fosil yakıtlar üzerinden sürdürülen kanlı oyunların bir parçası olarak Rusya’nın Ukrayna’yı işgali, kendisini her alanda hissettirmekte olan ekonomik kriz koşulları altında, emperyalist hiyerarşideki kanlı rekabetin bir ürünüdür.
Gezegenimizin kaynaklarımızın, insan ve doğa yararına değil onları sömürmek ve yok etmek için kullanılmasına neden olan bu sistem, ekonomik ve politik rekabet üzerine kuruludur, ürettiği savaşlar da, bu rekabeti bir üst seviyeye taşıyıp, tüm canlıları hedef alan bir barbarlığa dönüştürmektedir.
Savaş, en büyük ekolojik yıkımdır!
Bu savaşta, ne Rus ne Ukrayna ne de başka bir halkın çıkarı var! Sorun, halklar arasında değil, rekabette üste çıkmak için kan dökmekten çekinmeyen iktidar sahipleri arasında.
Dolayısıyla, Rusya’nın, Ukrayna’yı işgal etmesinde, mazeret olarak Rus asıllı halkın yaşadığı bölgeleri göstermesini, halkların kendi kaderini tayin hakkını emperyalist savaşların bahanesi olarak kullanılmasını reddediyoruz.
İklim Adaleti Koalisyonu olarak bu işgalin bir an önce durdurulması için, tüm dünya halklarını savaş karşıtı mücadelenin bir parçası olmaya çağırıyoruz.
Toplumsal sorunların demokratik, adil ve ekolojiyle uyumlu çözümü ancak böylesi bir barış hareketiyle mümkün olabilir.
Yoksulluk ve iklim değişimi ile mücadele için hepimize gerekli olan kaynakları boşa harcayan ve tüketen silahlanma yarışlarını durdurun!

Wars are nothing more than blood, tears, pain and ecological destruction: NO TO WAR!
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a product of the bloody conflict between imperialist hierarchies, under the conditions of the growing global economic crisis, whose impact is felt everywhere. It is part of the bloody games that are being played over fossil fuels, the principal cause of the climate crisis.
The system we live under, a system that uses the resources of our planet, not for the benefit of humanity and nature, but for exploitation and annihilation, is based on economic and political competition. The wars it produces are the highest expression of that competition and threaten to lead to a barbarism that targets all life on the planet.
War is the greatest ecological destruction!
Neither the Russian nor the Ukrainian peoples nor any other people have any interest in this war! The problem is not one of competition between peoples, but of the ruling elites who do not hesitate to spill blood to gain superiority in the competition between them.
In consequence we reject the excuse of the regions where ethnic Russians live, being used by Russia as the justification for the invasion, We reject the use of self determination of the people as an excuse for imperialist war.
As the Climate Justice Coalition, we call all peoples of the world to join the anti-war struggle and to stop this invasion immediately.
Only with a peace movement like this can we find a democratic, just and ecological solution to social problems.
Stop these arms races that are wasting the resources we all need to fight the climate crisis!
